A fuller, rounder butt is considered one of the defining characteristics of a traditionally feminine silhouette. A Brazilian butt lift transfers natural fat to your buttocks while trimming excess fat at the waist, abdomen, inner thighs, etc. The result is a sculpted hourglass figure with a more prominent and feminine butt. At Tseng Plastic Surgery, Dr. Tseng has perfected his procedure for a Transgender Brazilian butt lift in Kirkland to be customized for each patient’s goal.
Transgender Brazilian Butt Lift procedure and recovery
Before your Brazilian butt lift, you must have a friend or family member take you to and from the operation and care for you during the first several days after surgery. It would be best if you also planned to take two to three weeks off from work to ensure that you have enough time to heal. After your procedure, you can return home to begin the healing process the same day.
The Brazilian butt lift procedure takes fat grafts from donor sites and transfers them to augment your buttocks. Dr. Tseng prepares the grafts by using a centrifuge and filtration purification procedure to separate the fat cells. When ready, the purified fat is injected into the upper portion of your buttocks to create a more lifted, contoured, and pleasing appearance.
You must follow the recovery protocol carefully. Before leaving our care, Dr. Tseng and his team will provide you with detailed instructions regarding the following:
- Wound care
- Appropriate activity levels
- Medications
- How to wear your compression garment for some time to facilitate the healing process and ensure an optimal aesthetic outcome
After about seven days, Dr. Tseng will assess your progress and ensure you are healing correctly. A few days later, your sutures will be removed, at which point many of our patients can return to work. Within three weeks, you should be able to resume your regular activity and exercise levels.
